- Hey there! I'm Rebecca Renn. (My last name's none of your business. :P)
I only recently discovered the amazing world of German musicals, so I'm very very eager to learn more and get my hands on as much music as possible. :D
I am, in no particular order, 16, from the US, in all likelihood several inches taller than you, obsessed with Elisabeth, Rebecca, Broadway in general, Neil Gaiman, gothic romances, singing, acting, drawing, and last but certainly not least, the Sueniverse.
And yes, I was named after the Daphne du Maurier novel. Yes, the musical completes my life.
(Though I'd rather be the the alive, adorable wife of Uwe Kroger than his dead evil wife with a creepy servant lady lusting after me even though I'm dead. The song 'Rebecca' creeps me the hell out, at the same time that I love it.)
I'm kind of a huge geeky dork. And I love it.
... if you can't tell, I tend to ramble. A lot.

- A tie between the Essen and Wein versions!
- Favorite (or dream) Elisabeth/Tod Pairing?
- Hmmm. I loves me some Maya and Mate, but then again, I love Uwe and Pia too. So yeah.
- Favorite scene?
- Wenn Ich Tanzen Will, from the Vienna DVD. Because mmmmsexy.
- Favorite character?
- Der Tod, because he is sextastic. And Lucheni is awesome too.
- How did you become an Elisabeth fan?
- A friend of mine introduced me to it, via Uwe Kroger and the obsession just... spread.

Great comments in your profile information! You really do seem to have a rather wicked sense of humour! I'm fairly new around here, so I just thought I'd send you a greeting. It's rather amazing that the world has become so globalized that we can enthuse over the same things all over the world. I'm in Denmark, you're in the US and the musicals are German.
By the way, judging by some of your photos, it looks as if you have slight Máté obsession going on there. You do know that there is a really good fanpage for him, don't you? People in there mostly write in German and there's even a particular Hungarian forum in there. But a few of the Japanese fans prefer to write in English and I would guess that a lot of the German language fans read English perfectly well. In any case, if you don't know about it you - and anybody else - might want to check it out, because if you register, you can see lots of videos that aren't available on YouTube. The reason is that Máté quite often records stuff specifically for the fans on this page. He is actually quite a sweetie on that point...

Thanks for reminding me about Sandman... I've been meaning to read it for forever, but keep forgetting. I was at the bookstore today too...*laughs* I've read most of his novels, though.
I am well aware how many 'sues' there are in certain 'fandoms' So I snickered when I saw the word.
